Where our questions come from, how we decide what to publish, and what happens when we get one wrong.

Sources

Each day's quiz is built from the previous day's news. We work from Malayalam dailies and their online editions, national English dailies, Press Information Bureau releases, and Government of Kerala press releases. When a date or a figure looks doubtful, we check it against the website of the ministry, board or agency involved before publishing.

What we publish

Being in the news is not enough. A story has to contain something a PSC paper could ask for: a name, a date, a place, a number, a first. Opinion pieces and stories that are still moving get left out until the facts settle.

Every question needs an explanation. If we cannot write one sentence saying why the answer is correct, we drop the question.

Language

Questions are written mainly in Malayalam, since that is the language most Kerala PSC aspirants prepare in. Proper nouns, scheme names, organisation names and abbreviations are kept in English or given alongside the Malayalam, because that is how they appear in the exam.

Corrections

Email [email protected] with the quiz date and the question number. We fix confirmed errors in the source file, so the correction appears on the site at the next build rather than sitting in a comment somewhere.

PSCQuiz.com is an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with the Kerala Public Service Commission, and nothing here is an official PSC publication. For anything that affects your application, check the official notification.
